Through its student initiatives, the CCA aspires to increase student interest and participation in the arts; both as artist and audience member. The CCA offers the Arts Passport (discount admission programs for on campus events), Out There Arts (support for group arts outings off campus), Insider Arts (support for group arts outing on-campus), and Artist Survival Series (educational opportunities for students who plan to make a career in the arts). The CCA also provides grants for student artists, advises students interested in special projects in the arts, and advocates within the University for greater recognition of student arts activities, whether faculty-led or student-driven.
